Littera Public School, NH 31 Vikrampur Maujipur,Patna, welcomes applications for students from Pre-Nursery to Class IX. The admission process is designed to be transparent, fair, and in compliance with the Right to Education Act (RTE). Below is the step-by-step procedure for admission:

Step 1: Registration

Prospective students can obtain the registration form either online through the school’s official website (www.litterapublicschool.in) or in person from the school’s admission office. The registration form is typically available between January and March for the upcoming academic session starting in April. A non-refundable registration fee must be paid online through the school’s secure payment gateway or at the school office. Ensure all details, including the child’s name, date of birth, and parents’ contact information, are accurately filled, as these cannot be changed after submission.

Step 2: Document Submission

At the time of registration or during the admission process, the following documents are required:

Birth Certificate: Original birth certificate issued by a competent authority (e.g., Municipal Corporation) for verification. This will be returned after verification.

Proof of Residence: A valid document such as Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Passport, or utility bill in the name of the parent or child.

Photographs: Recent passport-size photographs of the child and parents/guardians.

Transfer Certificate (TC): For students applying to Class II and above, a valid TC from the previous school, countersigned by the District Education Officer if from another district.

Report Card: The latest report card from the previous school, indicating promotion to the next class.

Medical Certificate: A certificate confirming the child’s physical and mental fitness to attend school.

Special Needs Documentation (if applicable): A medical document stating any learning disabilities, if the child requires special provisions.

Step 3: Interaction or Entrance Test

For Pre-Nursery to Kindergarten: Admission is based on an informal interaction with the child and parents, conducted at the school premises. The interaction assesses the child’s basic skills, such as verbal communication, and ensures parental involvement in the child’s education.

For Classes I to IX: Admission involves an entrance test conducted on the school premises to evaluate the child’s proficiency in subjects like English, Mathematics, and General Knowledge, appropriate to their grade level. The syllabus for the test will be provided upon registration. A brief interaction with the child and parents may follow the test.

Step 4: Selection and Admission Confirmation

Selected candidates will be notified via email or SMS within 2 days after the interaction or entrance test. Parents must complete the admission formalities, including submission of the admission form and payment of fees, within 3 days of selection. Failure to do so may result in the vacancy being offered to the next candidate. The school reserves the right to grant or reject any application without assigning a reason.

Step 5: Fee Payment

Fees must be paid online through the school’s payment portal or at the school office. Parents should ensure accurate payment details, as the school is not liable for errors in the online payment system. The fee structure and payment guidelines are available on the school’s website.
